Thank you for posting. The only problem is I can't read it! I'm sorry but I don't speak or read your language. I'm just hoping you had a good stay!

Todd and owner Laura are most helpful, cheerful and kind. The motel is an average roadside building probably built in the 50's, but Laura has done a nice job making the well-kept yellow building look pleasant with flowers and decorating the rooms with above average linens for motels of this type. There is a room set aside for guests to relax, use the internet, and it has a hiker's box. The motel is only about a mile from the Appalachian Trail. The room has a microwave and fridge and decent towels. Todd was most memorable for his unfailing upbeat, good cheer. It was a hot day, but he said it was a wonderful day, as his "late, great father would say." We arrived after the office closed, and they made a key available to us, trusting us to settle up in the morning. The only disappointment was that the walls are very thin. However, I would stay again. This was a welcome locally-owned, reasonably-priced motel in a very expensive area.

We want to thank Laura and Staff for making
our stay at Shamrock Villiage Inn so enjoyable.
The Inn is walking distance to several places to eat,
Dicky especially enjoyed the Dalton Resturant.
The rooms are confortable and make you feel right
at home. We even had a cookout on our last evening.
We will see you next year!!! Thank you so much!

We stayed here last year and we were truly surprised! The owner, Laura, treated us like family. Can't wait to visit again, just hope it hasn't gotten too popular so that we can get a room.

If & when you are ever in the Beautiful Berkshires, I highly recommend staying at the Shamrock Village Inn, here in Dalton, MA. It's clean, comfortable & both pet & biker friendly. When you're here, you are truly owner Laura Callahan's guest, and will be treated as a personal friend. Do yourself a favor, check it out.
